What do you hope to learn from the program?
I hope to learn about technology that is out there and we dont actually think about it! Web 2.0 is invading our lives at present and it is not until you stop and think about what it is that you realise you are actually apart of it already.
What do you think about Lifelong Learning?
ummm... life long learning is paramount to keeping abreast of our daily life especially in library work. Who thinks they will ever know enough to shut information out and never learn again.?
What other blogs have you discovered? What do you like about them?
I often use blogs as a way of tracking down good and bad aspects of holiday locations! They are generally pretty good as people publically vent about good and bad issues.
Can you see a use for blogs inside the Library?
Yes, our team currently provides our internal staff with a newsletter and I think this could be duplicated in blog format for those willing to explore. I think it might also stimulate comments and discussion about the content of the newsletter.
How about blogging for a client audience?
Yes our library service should be using this as a method to advertise the libraries services and resources.
